Ingrid Goes West: Aubrey Plaza and Elizabeth Olsen star in this movie about a mentally disturbed girl who becomes obsessed with and tracks down an Instagram star. Honestly, it was kind of freaky how easily something like that could really happen. Definitely kind of a dark comedy but overall really fun to watch if you have a couple of hours to kill.
The Ordinary: This might be the first time that I’ve ever bought multiple items from a skin care line and LOVED every single thing. I discovered this brand through the makeup artist, Wayne Goss, and immediately bought the Rosehip Oil and Advanced Retinoid 2%. From there, I’ve branched out to the Caffeine eye serum and the AHA & BHA peel. This stuff has completely changed the texture of my skin for the better. With how inexpensive it is and how impressive the ingredient lists are, it’s definitely worth it to try at least one thing out.
Soji Energy Water Bottles: I came across this brand on Instagram and I was immediately obsessed. Obsessed enough to spend $80 on a water bottle with a giant crystal in it? No. Well, not yet anyways. They come in several different types of quartz such as Amethyst, Rose Quartz and Citrine with different benefits. If I come across a spare $80 to spend on a water bottle, I’ll definitely grab one. Until that, I’ll be sticking with my handy-dandy Swell bottle.
The Middle by Maren Morris & Zedd: THIS SONG has been on repeat non-stop since I saw it on New Music Friday. I love, love, love Maren Morris – she can absolutely do no wrong in my eyes. I saw her and Sam Hunt in concert last year and she was just as good live as she is in a recorded song.
Old Navy Rock Star Jeans: Usually I’m all about investing in my denim but I came across a pair on the clearance rack, tried them on and actually just fell in love. They fit perfectly length wise, a modern high-waisted fit in 90’s Levi’s blue shade. Okay Old Navy, Okayyyyyy.
